Oakwood Christian School is a wonderful educational ministry located in
Anderson, South Carolina.
We are a strong ministry of about 400
students and 33 faculty members. We are a Bible-teaching, Christ-honoring
school that takes pride in our outstanding academic achievement (average 1080
SAT and 23 ACT) as well as the upstanding young men and ladies that are
developed as a result of being a part of our program. We are members of the
South Carolina Association of Christian Schools, and we participate in both
athletic and fine arts competition with this organization. Past
accomplishments include state championships in basketball, volleyball, and golf, as well as
superior ratings in numerous fine arts categories.
Our success has been built on two driving principles. One, we
are constantly seeking to do the Lord's will. As an extension of
Oakwood Baptist Church,
it is our responsibility to uphold the values and the teachings of our
ministry. Secondly, it is the outstanding support and involvement that we
receive from our parents. It is through this willingness that we are able to
bridge the gap between home, school, and church while developing each student
to their fullest potential.
